This class in basic statistics and probability meets every Monday and Wednesday in Fisk 302 from 1:10 to 2:30 PM.  There are no pre-requisites, but class size is strictly limited to 36 people and is completely filled at this time.  TA sessions will be held at a time and place to be announced.  This class will be relying heavily on "Modern Elementary Statistics" by John E. Freund which will be available at Broad Street Books or at various places online.  Please see the syllabus page for further details.  Math majors or students with the math background to warrant a more rigorous class in Statistics and Probability are urged to take MATH 231, also being offered in the spring.
